#17071 - Power Plug Converter

Power Plug Converter for 2.1mm barrel plugs.

Most Optec devices have a 2.5 x 5.5mm power socket (see exception below) but many power distribution systems include the smaller 2.1 x 5.5mm power plugs. While the outer diameter for both barrel plug types are 5.5mm, most Optec devices have a larger center pin inside the socket so a 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel plug may not fit properly.

The #17071 Power Plug Converter fits the smaller 2.1mm center pin and presents a larger 2.5 x 5.5mm power barrel plug for proper connection to Optec devices. The ThirdLynx embedded motor circuits are an exception and include the 2.1 x 5.5mm socket for direct attachment to most power distribution systems.

Note that ALL Optec accessories are wired with the center pin positive.
