New Low Profile Combination Focuser & Rotator


Optec's new Hercules rotating focuser combines camera field rotation with telescope focus. Slightly smaller than its big brother, the robust Gemini focusing rotator, Hercules provides a full 3-inch clear aperture and 0.35” (about 9mm) of travel while maintaining a thickness less than 2-inches.


Optec’s Best-in-Class ASCOM and Alpaca drivers are capable of alt-az de-rotation, image orientation and composition in addition to the traditional guide-star acquisition capability.


Plus Hercules provides the outstanding focus control you’ve come to expect from Optec.
