Adapter for Hercules Epsilon 130/160

This standard height OPTEC-3600 dovetail base can be installed on existing TCF-Leo saddle plates for the Takahashi Epsilon 130 or 160 astrographs. For owners of the TCF-Leo E-130 / E-160 kits wishing to upgrade to the Hercules, this adapter allows the installed saddle plate to remain on the scope. Remove the Leo tip-tilt adjustable 3.6-inch dovetail and replace with this low profile 3.6-inch dovetail adapter to allow attachment of the Hercules focusing rotator.

This adapter consumes 0.335" or 8.5mm of back-focus. The Hercules adds another 46mm at the midpoint of travel.
